Afternoon Tea-light

Who hasn't judged one of those tea rooms you see when travelling in the country?
Expecting to see a cabinet of egg sandwiches and the like (not that there is anything wrong with that!), on the suggestion from my Sister in Law, we were quite delighted to find what we did at Lady Lavender's Tea Room.  A step back in time; furniture, milkshakes, pies, scones, jam and ice cream, just how Nana would remember.  A cosy atmosphere, and an afternoon to remember, shared with some of my family.

The lavender aroma too good to pass up.  We could not leave without a bar of lavender soap, and feeling grateful that we had stopped in.  What's even better - it's no more than 10 minutes down the road.  If you ever come by, we'll be sure to take you there.
