Grateful for Bloggers and Their Great Tastes

Firstly, I must say, to all the other bloggers who have joined in with 52 weeks of Grateful, sorry, I didn't realise there was a theme, and secondly, I thought the theme for this week was food.  It seems I am two weeks late.  Johnny always reminds me I was late for our first date, some things never change.

Anywho, I'm goint to continue with my Grateful post dedicated to food, and this week I'm grateful to my favourite bloggers and the way that they share some absolutely fabulous recipes.  I mentioned before that this is one of the best things about blogging, and nearly every other day there is another drool worthy recipe to try out.

One of my favourite blogs is Lemon Rhodes.  Not only does Jody have two adorable children and the cutest puppy ever, but she also has some awesome recipes.

If you haven't already, you should check out Lemon Rhodes.  I can certainly vouch for her Ice-Cream Cake, Sausage Rolls, White Chocolate and Orange Muffins, and the Chocolate Gingerbread, which we made today.

I know there are many great bloggers with some fantastic recipes.  Who is your favourite?  Include a link if you'd like so I can have a look too.

Where else do you go for cooking inspiration?

Linking up with more Gratefuls

  2. I ADORE Jody!

Every time I read something she writes, or see a photo on instagram, I just get this overwhelming feeling that she is such a beautiful Mother!

    And her recipes are fabulous!

I also adore AmyCakes (on instagram, & blogger), I'm sending this from my phone so I don't have the URL (sorry).

Look at your children, & how much FUN they are having!

    ... priceless! :)

    1. Thanks Cherie, and agreed - beautiful Mother. I've recently started following AmyCakes too.
Yep, we all like a bit of a bake off here - the kids love it!

  3. I LOVE jody. she was the first blogger who stretched out an olive branch when I started blogging. and she is queen of the kitchen!! I get inspiration from other bloggers too, but mostly fave cook books (jamie, nigella, donna hay, tessa kiros). I am trying to be more varied with our dinner menu! I love the excitement of your little ones jumping out of these pictures x

    1. I try to be a bit varied too. It gets a bit hard on a tight budget at times, so I often refer to old faithfuls. I really like Nigella's latest book Kitchen. Very pantry friendly, with ideas for leftovers! My only complaint is that I bought it from Amazon US, so it's all in US measurements, with US names. So unauthentic! Bugger!

  5. Jody is one of my faves too, MilIna. Other fave foodies whose blogs I also love are Veggie Mama, Mummy Mayhem recipe box and M.e. (Melbourne Epicure). I'm also a big fan of Bakarella!

  6. PS - it doesn't matter about the theme! I'm not even on theme myself this week. I think I'll do the theme on Kidspot and whatever takes my fancy in my blog. Let's all do that!! x

  7. Jeepers, I didn't realize there was a theme!!!! Will try and get with the program next week....glad Bron isn't too fussed :)
Love your photos...so sweet and very super-mom of you to get your little ones involved in cooking! Every time I attempt to cook with my KATs it either goes pear-shaped or I end up literally holding the bag (cleaning up the mess)!!!!
I love a bit of cooking-porno (ie beautifully styled, delicious looking food) but what I actually cook is way more "rustic".....nothing sexy about it!!!!

  8. Hello, totally agree that recipe sharing is so great from bloggers. One of the first I started reading was Frills In The Hills and I use loads of Liss's recipes. Her make it in bulk veggie dhal is my husband's favourite dinner. Lucky that as I have a freezer full of it!!

I LOVE the photo of your wee one in the high chair. They're all cute pix, but that one takes the (gingerbread) biscuit, it's stunning.

  9. I don't follow a theme... I just post about what I'm grateful for, isn't that the point?

I'm not much of a cook, but I have tried a couple of recipes posted by various bloggers - and post a recipe myself (which is SO unlike me but it was the World's Best Apple Crmuble so I just HAD to share)

    :-)

  10. Beautiful photos!!

i love bloggers for recipes (and pinterest) although i tend to salivate and want to make everything and then realise i could not cook it all if i tried my hardest every day of the week - too much goodness!

I love recipes from blogs - though I do save a lot and then never quite get around to cooking them...
